There’s an odd satisfaction when people ask you where your clothes are from, and really all you can tell them is this little store in BC. Luckily, people are starting to know where Golden is, so that makes it a lot easier! People don’t know how much fashion opportunity there actually is here, but they will be pleasantly surprised to learn that, even in this small town, we have boutiques that appeal to a whole variety of fashion senses!

Ladies everywhere will enjoy shopping at Signature Clothing Store. I should know; I’ve been shopping there since before I could afford my own clothes! The owner, Deanna, is really who I should thank for any fashion sense I have. I can walk in there and she’s instantly pulling items off the rack for me. She has a wide variety of styles for any occasion, whether you’re looking for shorts and a tank or a new summer dress.

Right next door is Plain Wayne and Jane. Now that the sun is out, you can bet that you’ll be seeing their headless mannequins out on the sidewalk, luring you in to see all the awesome vintage classics they have. When the hot weather first came to Golden, I was panicking because I couldn’t find my flip-flops. Thank goodness for Plain Wayne, I was able to stock up on Havaianas. I was so happy to find such a well-known brand in one of our local stores!

Forget your onesie at home? No problem, Kicking Horse Embroidery has got you covered! And those familiar with the Wrangler brand will find an excellent selection of their jeans available there. Didn’t expect that, did ya? I’m definitely due for another visit there soon; I need some new additions to my plaid collection!

Just down the street is Top Notch, also known as Brent’s Board Shop. I guarantee you won’t be able to walk past their awesome window displays without having a look inside. You’ll find everything you need for a successful weekend here in the mountains, whether you’re here to hit the slopes or to camp and enjoy the sunshine. They have an excellent selection of shoes and clothing for guys and girls, including other accessories like jewelry, bags and an endless selection of hats!

Darkside will appeal to all of the skaters at heart! Whether it’s time for winter shredding or hanging out at the skate park with your friends, you can be sure they’ll have whatever you need. They also have a bunch of products with their logo on it, so you can tell people about that cool place you visited while you were in Golden!

Off The Wall is home to all sorts of items that will make your trip to Golden a memorable experience; from custom made tees and hoodies to mugs and even stickers! It’s perfect if you’re coming out for a special event, you’ll be able to take some keepsakes home with you to really remember all your special memories. I recently went in and bought one of their Kicking Horse tank tops and I’ve worn it every weekend since, it’s so perfect for the great weather we’ve been having!

When I walk into each of these stores, I either know the owners or I will know somebody shopping in the store. Living in a small town, you learn to appreciate the the special care they add to your overall experience.
